Minimum qualifications and skill set:

3+ years of veterinary technician experience
Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado

Proficiency in the following skills: Client communication and education
Anesthetic induction, monitoring, assisting, and recovery
Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
Radiology positioning and safety protocols
Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
Accurate medical record documentation
Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques
Handling pocket pets, reptiles, and avian experience preferred but willing to train
**Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply
