Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Adult Social Care team based in Lewes, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated OT who enjoys working within the community, supporting adults to maximise their independence and achieve positive outcomes through person-centred, strengths-based practice.

You'll work with adults with a variety of physical and functional needs, completing assessments, recommending equipment and adaptations, and working closely with health and social care professionals to deliver coordinated support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out Occupational Therapy assessments within community settings
• Assessing functional abilities and identifying barriers to independent living
• Recommending appropriate equipment and home adaptations
• Completing moving and handling assessments where required
• Developing person-centred intervention and support plans
• Supporting adults to maximise their independence and wellbeing
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, carers, and partner agencies
• Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant case records
• Promoting safe, strengths-based practice and positive outcomes

What We're Looking For

• To be successful in this role, you will have: HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working within Adult Social Care and/or community settings
• Strong assessment, analytical, and clinical reasoning skills
• Experience recommending equipment and adaptations
• The ability to manage a varied caseload independently
• Excellent communication and partnership-working skills
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
