Senior Social Worker - Duty and Assessment

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s

Social Worker to join its client’s Duty and Assessment team, based in Shropshire.

What will your responsibilities be?

Completing Social Work Assessments (SWA).Undertaking Section 47 (S47) Child Protection enquiries.

Completing Section 7 (S7) reports.

Completing Section 37 (S37) reports.

Completing initial Child in Need (CIN) assessments.

Attending and completing Child Protection (CP) Core Groups.

Preparing court statements when required.

Preparing care plans for initial court hearings.

Attending initial court hearings where necessary.

Participating in the duty rota every other week, requiring office attendance.

Managing workload independently when off duty, including:

• Home working.
• Completing follow-up visits.
• Updating assessments and case records.
• Progressing casework and interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• To be successful in this role you must have; Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
