Social Worker - Help and Protect Team

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker for our client to join the Help and Protect Team at Sefton Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-established team focused on safeguarding children and supporting families through assessment, intervention, and child protection planning.

What will your responsibilities be?

Manage a caseload of children and families requiring support and protection.

Undertake Child and Family Assessments to identify needs and risks.

Complete Child in Need and Child Protection work.

Develop and implement effective care and support plans.

Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings where appropriate.

Conduct statutory visits and maintain high-quality case recordings.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

• To be successful in this role you must have; Social Work England registration.
• Qualified Social Worker status.
• Recent experience within Children's Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and procedures.
• Experience managing Child in Need, Child Protection, and court-related work.
• Excellent assessment and communication skills.
