Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Yonkers, NY

• Agency CNA – $23.50/hr (Weekly Pay / Every Thursday)
• Location: Yonkers, NY 10701 (Nursing Home facility)
• Base Pay: $23.50 / hour
• Overtime Pay: $35.25 / hour

Schedule: 7AM-3PM (Day), 3PM-11PM (Eve) & 11PM-7AM (Night) - Full-Time & Part-Time hours available!

Mandatory Requirements (No Exceptions)

In-Person Interview Required: Must be able to come to the facility for a brief face-to-face meeting.

Active NYS CNA License

Must be able to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

Geriatric Care Support: Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Resident Personal Care: Assist with patient bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, continuous rounding, meal assistance, and dignified personal care needs.

Patient Transfers: Safely perform mechanical lifts, positioning, turning, and ambulation transfers for long-term care and sub-acute rehab residents. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.

Clinical Charting: Monitor and record patient vitals, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes into electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to maintain a seamless healthcare environment.

Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.

Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.

Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
