Lumos & Associates is seeking highly motivated
Materials Technician Interns to join our Construction Division for the 2027 summer internship program.
The Materials Technician Intern will support construction materials testing and inspection activities while gaining hands-on experience in both field and laboratory environments. This seasonal position provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians, inspectors, engineers, and construction managers while learning how construction materials and field conditions are evaluated for compliance with project plans and specifications. This position will work full-time from mid-May through mid-August 2027.
Due to the nature of construction work and the busy summer season, overtime should be expected and may vary based on project schedules and field needs.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and skills
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal communication with team members and colleagues.
Ability to learn technical knowledge and testing procedures quickly.
Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
