Software Engineer - Device Security & Identity

About the Role

We’re hiring a Software Engineer to join our Platform Infrastructure team in San Diego. You’ll partner with a technical lead engineer and embedded in device identity and security—this is one area form the backbone of how we build, provision, deploy, and manage our robots at scale.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to:

• Device Identity & Security
• — The cryptographic chain of trust from secure boot through disk encryption and device attestation to cloud enrollment. Key management infrastructure, certificate lifecycles, and the tooling that ensures only trusted software runs on trusted hardware.

This role is designed for someone who is curious, technically sharp, and eager to learn, grow and build. Much of what you’ll work on—from secure boot pipelines to fleet-scale cloud infrastructure—isn’t taught in a classroom. We’re looking for the right attitude, aptitude and experience. We’ll invest in continuing your development into a world class platform engineer.
