As a Safety Manager (SSHO)
, you’ll lead safety implementation on federal construction projects while serving as the on-site authority for safety compliance. You’ll ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with the project’s Accident Prevention Plan (APP), EM 385-1-1 requirements, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and craft teams to identify hazards early, reinforce safe work practices, and maintain a strong, people-first safety culture on the jobsite.
This position requires a visible field presence, strong technical knowledge of federal safety requirements, and the ability to partner with project teams to embed safety into daily operations.
Compensation
$110,000 — $135,000 USD
Background Check & Pre-Employment Screening
All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Background checks may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and references. For positions with access to company financial accounts or credit card programs, a credit history check may also be conducted.
All screening is conducted in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state and local laws. Candidates will be asked to provide written consent prior to any screening. If results include information that may affect a hiring decision, candidates will have the opportunity to review and respond to the findings before a final decision is made.
