Innophos is seeking a Packager at our Waterway location in Chicago. The right candidate will be responsible for overall efficient operation of the position including safety, quantity, quality, housekeeping, record keeping, environmental, etc.
Key Responsibilities: Observes and operates all equipment and instrumentation, troubleshoots, adjusts equipment, cleans equipment and records data on appropriate logs and spreadsheets, as well as in E1 system
- Selects, prepares, fills, samples, weighs and moves a variety of packages and containers as required for the proper packaging of product
- Moves pallets, containers and equipment throughout a restricted space using a forklift
- Enters work orders in JOE as needed
- Shift: Rotating Shift – 1st shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm), 2nd shift (2:30 pm-10:30 pm), 3rd shift (10:30 pm-6:30 am) Monday - Sunday
