The primary purpose of this position is to develop, implement, and oversee production activities for the operations personnel within the assigned manufacturing department while maintaining adherence to EH&S protocols, regulatory requirements, and plant policies. Coordinate packaging and production needs by collaboratively planning with sales and business management. Responsible for leading direct reports in a fair and ethical manner, while encouraging and facilitating continuous improvement to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Drive overall manufacturing activities for respective department(s) – Monitor daily production performance, maintain proper GMP and housekeeping practices, review production and personnel work schedules, understand and train relative personnel on all facets of the production process, and support plant initiatives
Collaborate with the Maintenance department as necessary, to ensure effective and timely repair of production equipment, schedule preventative maintenance, develop and train personnel on equipment specific lock out tag out procedures
