Plumbing Apprentice/ Sewer Tech

Job Duties for Plumbing / Sewer tech

1+ year of construction, plumbing, excavation, landscaping, or related experience preferred.

Willingness to learn underground sewer and water-line installation.

Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday.

Ability to dig, shovel, move pipe, stone, dirt, and materials.

Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.

Ability to learn proper installation of PVC, SDR, PEX, and other underground piping.

Willingness to learn how to properly grade and slope sewer lines.

Ability to assist with excavation, trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, and restoration.

Willingness to learn and safely work around mini excavators, skid steers, compactors, and other equipment.

Understands the importance of trench safety and utility locating.

Able to work in crawl spaces, trenches, basements, and difficult conditions.

Valid driver's license preferred.

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Able to follow directions and work effectively as part of a two-person or larger crew.
