Financial Analyst – Business Valuations

Our client is a boutique financial advisory firm working with international clients on business valuations, financial analysis, and corporate finance projects.

We are looking for a mid-level Financial Analyst with experience in audit, valuations, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or a related field.

You will work closely with an experienced valuation professional, support ongoing projects, and gradually take more ownership of valuation assignments.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse financial statements, cash flows, and company performance
• Build and update financial and valuation models in Excel
• Support business valuations using DCF, market multiples, comparable companies, and transaction analysis
• Conduct company, industry, and market research
• Prepare forecasts, scenarios, and sensitivity analysis
• Contribute to valuation reports and supporting documentation
• Work with the team on international client projects

What We’re Looking For

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Around
• 3+ years of experience in financial services
• Practical experience in business valuations, Deal Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, M&A, or Audit with valuation exposure
• Good understanding of financial statements and cash flow
• Strong Excel skills
• Good analytical and research skills
• Strong written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment
• Nice to Have
• Big Four or other established audit/advisory experience
• Background combining Audit with Valuations / Deals / Transaction Services
• ACA, ACCA, CFA, or similar qualification
• Experience building financial models from scratch
• Experience with international valuation projects

• Fully remote
• Monday to Friday, approximately
• 9:00–17:00
• 40 hours per week
• Independent contractor / B2B arrangement for candidates outside Cyprus
• Expected start: late September / early October 2026
• The hiring process will include an interview and a short practical assessment focused on financial analysis, research, and valuation-related skills.
