- We’re seeking an experienced
- DevOps Engineer to join our team on a contract basis
- . This is a hands-on role combining
DevOps, platform engineering and systems expertise.
You’ll work alongside software development teams, understand their applications and workloads, and help them migrate to modern, supported infrastructure and platforms.
- You Will Be:: Working closely with development teams to understand their applications, workloads, configurations and runtime environments
- Supporting and actively driving infrastructure and platform migration projects
- Helping migrate workloads from legacy or unsupported environments to modern, supported platforms
- Contributing to Linux-based infrastructure and platform improvements
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible
- Using Python to develop automation and tooling that supports engineering and operational processes
- Troubleshooting infrastructure, platform and application runtime issues
Collaborating with engineering teams to improve the reliability, maintainability and efficiency of their environments.
- You Will Need:: At least 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or a similar infrastructure-focused role
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems
- Practical experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Good Python skills, particularly for automation and tooling
- Experience working with Kubernetes and containerised workloads
- A good understanding of software applications, including application configuration and runtime environments
- Nice to Have:: Experience with infrastructure or platform migrations
- Experience with Apache Airflow
