We are looking for a Teleoperation Engineer to sit at the intersection of our operations and engineering teams. In this role, you will train and manage the quality of a team of teleoperation operators, establish and maintain data collection standards, and act as the critical bridge between project management and the technical teams developing our teleoperation and policy systems. You will maintain direct teleoperation proficiency and translate operational insight into actionable engineering feedback, and vice versa.
This role starts hands on and grows in scope and ownership as we scale.
Your Responsibilities
Teleoperation
- Spend significant hands-on time operating our robotic systems directly. Active teleoperation is a core, ongoing part of this role, not an occasional task
- Maintain direct proficiency across robotic systems and teleoperation interfaces (VR, joystick, or control rigs)
