Position Overview
Promesa Academy Charter School is seeking a passionate and dedicated
3rd Grade Math Teacher to join our instructional team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, supportive, and academically rigorous classroom environment where all students can strengthen their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and confidence.
The 3rd Grade Math Teacher will provide standards-aligned instruction, monitor student progress, use assessment data to guide instruction, and collaborate with colleagues and families to support student achievement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging mathematics instruction aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Develop students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, computation, problem-solving strategies, and mathematical reasoning.
Prepare students to demonstrate mastery of grade-level standards and assessments.
