Promesa Academy Charter School is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified
Elementary Special Education Teacher with Dyslexia Certification for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing individualized, evidence-based instruction that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with disabilities and students identified with dyslexia.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide specially designed instruction to elementary students receiving special education services.
Deliver structured, multisensory dyslexia intervention using an approved evidence-based program.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
Maintain accurate documentation of student services, accommodations, progress, and compliance requirements.
