Transportation Designer – Engineer in Training

What you'll do: Prepare construction drawings, layouts, and exhibits in accordance with GDOT Plan Presentation Guide & Electronic Data Guidelines and/or SCDOT plan preparation guidelines

• Perform geometric calculations and estimate construction quantities using CADD tools
• Assist with the design and development of transportation improvement projects, including roadway and related infrastructure plans
• Coordinate regularly with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery
• Produce and refine design files, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support transportation projects
