We are seeking a dependable and hardworking
Dishwasher / Dietary Utility Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment. This position plays an important role in supporting our Dietary team and providing a positive dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities:: Operate the dishwasher and wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
Inspect all items after washing to ensure they are clean before putting them away.
Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and orderly before, during, and after meal service.
Check and document dishwasher temperatures and sanitizer levels as required.
Monitor soaps and sanitizers to ensure infection-control guidelines are followed.
Clean kitchen equipment and service ware daily, ensuring nothing is left dirty overnight.
Sweep and clean kitchen and dining room floors after each meal.
Empty garbage and clean the dishwasher after each meal.
Follow all OSHA requirements, safety procedures, universal precautions, and infection-control guidelines.
Interact with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers in a patient, respectful, and professional manner.
Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
Assist other departments when needed.
Complete additional duties assigned by the Director of Dietary or their designee.

Ability to communicate respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
Ability to safely lift, bend, stand, and use kitchen equipment throughout the shift.
