Med Techs / Registered Medication Aides (RMAs) to join our resident care team.

Spring Oak at Bedford is a well-known senior living community in Bedford with an experienced and supportive leadership team. Our Med Techs play an important role in providing safe medication assistance while also helping residents with their daily care needs.

Available Shifts:: Day:

7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Evening:

3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Overnight:

11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions available

Responsibilities:: Safely administer medications according to physician orders, state regulations, and community policies.

Accurately document medication administration and maintain medication records.

Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition or medication concerns.

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, and other daily needs.

Follow individualized resident care plans.

Communicate with nurses and other members of the care team.

Promote residents’ dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.

Qualifications:: Current

• Virginia Registered Medication Aide (RMA) registration required.
• Previous assisted living, senior living, or medication administration experience preferred.
• Compassionate and respectful approach to working with older adults.
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
