About the role
Lab37 Robotics is seeking an EDS/Schematic/Harness Engineer to own the electrical distribution system, system schematics, and wire-harness design and release for our robotic food-production systems. Working closely with the electrical system architect, this engineer will translate the overall electrical architecture into robust, serviceable, and manufacturable power and data distribution designs in an enterprise E-CAD platform, while providing analysis and recommendations on architecture, component selection, interfaces, packaging,
and implementation tradeoffs. The role will carry designs from schematic and harness development through prototype, validation, supplier build, production release, and ongoing field support, while establishing and maintaining the E-CAD ecosystem, including libraries, documentation standards, drawings, wire lists, BOMs, and revision controls required for a scalable electrical design process.
