We are looking for a Creative Director to lead the creative vision for selected accounts across a variety of categories. This role involves overseeing the creative process, managing creative teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative and on-strategy campaign work for our clients.
As a reliable partner to Strategy, Account and Production teams, our Creative Directors seek to build trusting relationships and problem-solve collaboratively across departments and coasts. They know their clients inside and out and are adept at finding the right opportunities to bring great ideas to life.
The ideal candidate is a fearless creative leader with broad advertising experience as well as experience as a manager. They know how to inspire teams, create an environment where ideas can flow freely, and provide creative direction that helps people grow their skills and confidence.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is ready to become a Spoon - to give a damn, try anything, and enjoy the people they are working with. This team is based in the New York office and works in a hybrid fashion with in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $200,000 - $225,000. Salary is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location. For this role, we also offer programs such as medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and various other benefits and perks.
Responsibilities: Shape the creative vision across a variety of clients.
Lead creative development throughout the process.
Find innovative, strategically sound solutions that solve client problems and win awards.
Concept and create beautiful work from briefs, insights and strategy.
Manage and nurture a team of writers and art directors, while being a mentor to Spoons across the creative department and beyond.
Effectively lead and present work within agency and in front of clients
Build and maintain productive relationships with counterparts in Strategy, Account Management and Production.
Participate in day-to-day communication with key team members and partners to identify the right times to execute and the right times to delegate.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and be resourceful, flexible and quick to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
