Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, implementation, and management of a cloud-based information system, and provide guidance and oversight for our high performing technical team. The ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary engineer with a software engineering background and a creative “figure it out” personality to help advance the state-of-the-art and ensure high availability of our mission critical system.
The position requires understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and security in a government setting. Candidate will interface daily with key government personnel and stakeholders at all levels, ensure taskings are completed, and ensure overall delivery excellence.
This position will eventually be on site with our customer in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will work remotely until space is ready. Applicants who do not currently reside within commuting distance to Huntsville should describe how they would satisfy this requirement.
