We serve federal, state, and municipal governments as well as industrial, commercial, and recreational customers throughout Virginia and in eastern North Carolina, South Carolina, and Maryland.

Sydnor Hydro is looking for a motivated

Mechanic Helper to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in water and wastewater system installations and service. This is an on-site position in Richmond, VA.

• What you'll do:: Assist with water and wastewater system installations, repairs, and service work
• Work alongside experienced technicians to learn industry best practices
• Support equipment setup, testing, and troubleshooting
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

What you bring:: Some experience in plumbing or electrical work is preferred

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:00-4:30 and rotating emergency on-call
• Compensation:: $16-20/hour
• Pay will depend on education, experience, skills, and location. The posted range reflects our current expectations but may change.
