Prepare and maintain buffers, reagents, and other laboratory solutions
Prepare and sterilize culture media
Grow bacterial cultures for various experiments
Perform transformations
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including electrophoresis chambers, centrifuges, sterilizers, and spectrophotometers
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Author and update SOPs as needed
Document all experimental procedures, results, and observations meticulously
Collaborate with team members to optimize purification processes and troubleshoot issues
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
Assist in ordering and inventory management of laboratory supplies
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field
2+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting
Experience in protein purification techniques and with relevant laboratory equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Ability to pivot tasks quickly
Willing to support interdisciplinary efforts
Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures
