About the role

We’re hiring a Founding Member of Technical Staff - Engineering to build the systems that power our RL and contributor platforms. You’ll be a member of the founding team and should expect to wear multiple hats. While this role is engineering-leaning, we’re looking for people who are energized by hard technical problems and excited to operate at the intersection between engineering, research, and product. Examples of projects you could work on include:

• Developing platforms that allow contributors to create RL environments
• Designing QA agents to ensure data quality
• Tooling to improve environment and task creation processes
• You’ll be a good fit if you: Have strong engineering fundamentals and are a prolific user of AI tools
• Have experience with full-stack product development
• Have experience with infrastructure, containerization, networking, and distributed systems
• Have an interest in reinforcement learning environments
