A growing professional services firm is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support its HR team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Overview

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with the HR team, this role helps ensure a seamless employee experience while contributing to key HR initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data

• Support recruiting and onboarding, including job postings, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letters, and new hire orientation
• Assist with payroll, benefits, leave administration, and performance review documentation
• Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, and employee communications
• Track compliance training, acknowledgments, and required employment documentation
• Support I-9 and E-Verify processes
• Edit and maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, and internal resources
• Assist with special projects and other HR initiatives as needed

Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience preferred)
