We're not putting servers on a barge. We're engineering a new class of ocean-deployed infrastructure that generates its own power, recovers its own waste heat, stays on station in severe weather, and runs autonomously. This requires a mix of first principles engineering and existing technology from other industries.

You're a Master of None

, but don't worry, it’s a generalist’s world after all. If you read everything above and thought

"I could do half of each of those", this might be your spot. We're looking for versatile, high-horsepower operators who can plug in wherever the hardest problem is on any given week. You might be writing a procurement spec on Monday, running a CFD sim on Wednesday, and on a call with a customer on Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Fill gaps across engineering, operations, and project execution as the company's needs evolve
• Pick up unfamiliar problems quickly and drive them to resolution without waiting to be told how
• Contribute to design reviews, testing, vendor coordination, and anything else that needs doing
• Bring a skill or perspective the rest of the team doesn't have yet

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree and a track record of doing a wide range of things well
• Demonstrated ability to learn fast, work independently, and operate in chaos
• You've been the person who figured it out when nobody else knew how
• This role is based in Washington, D.C.
