What We Need
Reporting to the Manager, Paid, this role is a key member of the "pod" team, with a primary focus on driving campaign execution and delivery with a strong sense of ownership and accountability across media plans that support overarching brand and performance strategies
. The Associate Manager is responsible for managing detailed planning workflows, ensuring campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, and 1st party channels are executed with precision alongside agency managed media
. This role requires a proactive professional who can own end-to-end performance tracking, maintain strong platform partner relationships, and drive campaign delivery across in house and agency with a high sense of accountability.
What You’ll Do
Campaign Execution & Pod Delivery
Drive the execution and delivery of paid media campaigns with a strong sense of ownership and accountability within the pod team.
Translate media planning into actionable steps by managing detailed workflows and rigorous QA processes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Own the "live" process for campaigns, coordinating the implementation of creative assets, tracking, and targeting parameters across multiple platforms.
Monitor daily campaign pacing and performance tracking, conducting deep-dive post-campaign analyses (PCAs) to uncover actionable insights.
Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation and ensure all timelines are met for the overarching media strategies.
Contribute to planning discussions to strengthen strategic understanding.
Platform Activation & Partner Management
Manage recurring platform representative relationships and meetings (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok), actively seeking opportunities to maximize platform value and improve deliverables.
Execute and optimize "hands-on-keyboard" campaigns within in-house media platforms, ensuring alignment with 1st party data activation goals.
Participate in agency and partner meetings with a clear understanding of campaign goals, ensuring partner outputs align with tactical objectives.
Actively build and hold relationships with key platform partners to stay informed on alpha/beta opportunities and technical troubleshooting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
Communicate effectively across the team to ensure clarity and alignment on campaign beats, proactively resolving blockers where possible.
Demonstrate a growing awareness of cross-functional interdependencies (Creative, Analytics, Marketing Tech) and contribute to planning discussions to strengthen strategic understanding.
Identify and escalate resourcing gaps or scope misalignments early to enable smooth execution and cross-functional alignment.
Operational & Financial Oversight
Manage the internal finance and procurement processes for the pod, including PO creation, budget tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
Support the Manager in the application of commercial context to planning decisions, flagging data inconsistencies or risks.
Contribute to a culture of curiosity and collaboration by proactively sharing knowledge and offering support to peers.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Job-Related Skills
2–4 years of experience in media planning or digital marketing execution.
Established professional contributor with a full understanding of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads interfaces.
Experience in tactical campaign execution, including budget management, trafficking, and QA processes.
Proven ability to analyze multiple data sets to support performance tracking and ongoing optimization.
Strong communication skills with experience managing professional relationships with external platform partners.
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for data documentation and financial tracking.
Prefer red Qualifications
Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.
Familiarity with Customer Data Platform (CDP) activation.
Experience in an agenc y or high-growth "pod" environment.
The pay range for this position in N ovato, CA at the start of empl oyment is expected to be between
$74,500 and
$110,260 per year
. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity a wards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
