Job Purpose
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing client relationships, finding cross selling, and upselling opportunities for ICE's Mortgage Technology division. This individual will sell products and/or services and manages relationships with existing client accounts to ensure satisfaction, account retention, and continued revenue growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Acts as primary liaison between client and ICE and understands client’s needs, including financial expectations and restrictions
- May assist in the development and execution of account plans to ensure continued revenue growth from account base
- Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets, and competitive intelligence
- Analyzes and evaluates pricing and costing scenarios to offer most viable value proposition
- Assists sales teams in the preparation of proposals for clients utilizing ICE resources and tools
- Monitors service levels, discusses with management, and recommends opportunities for improving service levels, revenue, and profit
- Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies
- May travel up to 50% to client sites and/or events
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- Requires 5+ years of sales or account management experience
- Mortgage industry experience
- Preferred Knowledge and Experience
- Experience with ICE Mortgage Technology products, services, and capabilities
- Salesforce or other CRM tool experience
- Experience working in a metrics-based environment with the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Highly experienced in negotiation and ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- In-depth understanding of the sales process
- Excellent follow-up skills in all areas of sales cycle
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management both internal and client facing
