What We Are Looking For
- The Engineering Design group is seeking a Measurement Engineer to support interstate natural gas pipeline projects. This individual will be a technical resource within the Engineering Design group and must possess the ability to collaborate with a wide variety of people in various departments with tact, courtesy and professionalism. This individual will also represent the Company with customers, suppliers, licensees, third party engineering firms, outside consultants, and industry associations
What You Will Do
- The selected candidate must possess skills used in the development and execution of measurement projects, including preliminary scoping and equipment sizing and selection. Responsibilities will include selection and sizing of meters, control valves, relief valves, and piping components, as well as selection of gas sampling equipment, odorization equipment, gas heaters, filter separators. This individual should also be familiar with pressure drop calculations and should understand the design and implementation of overpressure protection. The successful candidate will be capable of communicating this information using well-developed written and verbal skills. Additionally, the successful candidate will support Operations personnel with troubleshooting issues at measurement and regulation facilities.
