Overview
This is a hybrid position that will sit in or near Jacksonville, Florida or Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
This position provides support for the Bank's in-house legal counsel. Addresses questions and concerns from clients, associates, vendors and management. Creates and maintains legal documentation. Reviews customer or vendor requested changes to lease and loan documents, where appropriate creates addenda, seeks guidance from attorneys on unusual or complex change requests. Compiles and analyzes documentation related to legal matters.
Supports the continuous improvement of legal processes and capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Duties & Responsibilities: Documentation - Drafts, revises, and maintains legal forms and templates. Creates documentation for use in lending and leasing related projects as well as transaction or client-specific documentation. Drafts vendor program agreements with guidance from vendor onboarding on any special provisions in those agreements such as loss pools, residual or renewal sharing, pass through maintenance, etc.
