Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, house supervisor, and charge nurse attends to patient's direct care needs and performs tasks as delegated. Assists in delivering treatment, safety, and activities of daily living as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. Performs duties assigned of observation rounding, medical procedures, leads topic specific groups, manages milieu, training new employees, documentation, and safety rounds. Handle with Care certification current. 4. Attends 80% of departmental staff meetings. 5. Attends required in-service trainings. 6. Complies with local, state, federal and JC standards and guidelines. 9. Adheres to safety policy and procedures to promote safe work practices. 10.
Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures specific to position/department. 11. Maintains proper boundaries when interacting with patients and their families and co-workers. 12. Seeks direction or clarification from Supervisor when necessary. 13. Treats patients with respect according to patient rights and responsibilities. 14.
