With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a Per Diem Creative Arts Therapist to join our team.
Creative Arts Therapist is responsible for assessing patients’ leisure and recreational activities, providing age and developmentally appropriate therapy groups using a combination of activities, creative arts modalities, and talk therapy, helping patients develop safety/crisis plans, and establishing behavioral treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. The Creative Arts Therapist must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, and adults.
