Rigger

Responsibilities Brasfield & Gorrie is hiring an experienced Rigger to join our field team on an active power plant construction project in Cartersville, GA. If you're a certified rigger with hoisting and crane-signal experience, this is a strong opportunity with a top-ranked industrial general contractor. About the Role As a Rigger, you'll set up hoisting equipment, secure materials, and coordinate with crane operators to safely move and place equipment and materials throughout the project site.

Rigger Job Responsibilities Determine and set up hoisting equipment to be moved by lift Secure materials following safety protocol Signal to operator where to place equipment and materials throughout the project site Understand weight limits of chokers, shackles, pulleys, winches, blocks, sheaves, and cables Know crane signals and follow all applicable safety codes Follow oral and written directions Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Position requires long periods of walking or standing Use arms and hands to reach for,

handle, or manipulate objects (Note: this job description may not include all duties required of the role.)
