As our Craft Recruiter supporting the Field Apprenticeship Program, you'll be the one building that trust from day one — connecting students in High school, Technical College and Community College to real careers in the skilled trades through Brasfield & Gorrie.
This is a role built for someone with 2+ years of professional experience who works autonomously, takes ownership of an assigned geography, and has the grit to continue building strong pipelines of future builders. See what the job actually looks like: Watch a day in the life of one of our Field Apprentice Recruiters Build and own relationships with high schools, technical/community colleges, and workforce development partners to develop a steady pipeline of apprentice and entry-level craft talent.
Independently source, screen, and manage candidates through the full recruiting cycle — from first contact to offer, onboarding, and program entry. Partner with field leaders and craft operations teams to align recruiting with business demand, and track pipeline activity and outcomes in iCIMS. Plan and lead school visits, career fairs, classroom presentations, and jobsite tours that promote construction careers to students and career-changers.
Educate candidates, families, educators, and partners on the career paths available through the Field Apprenticeship Program. Bring market feedback and school insights back to leadership to continuously sharpen the recruiting strategy. Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience 2+ years of professional experience in recruiting, sales, marketing, workforce development, school partnerships, or a related relationship-driven field; experience in talent pipeline building, construction, or skilled trades recruiting is
preferred but not required. A self-starter who works autonomously, takes ownership of a full recruiting territory, and shows the grit to build relationships and pipelines from scratch. Experience building relationships with schools or workforce development programs, and leading recruiting events or career fairs, preferred. Strong communication skills, comfortable connecting with students, educators, parents, and internal leaders alike.
Organized and tech-comfortable — able to manage an ATS, Microsoft Office, and multiple partnerships/pipelines at once. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus. Willingness to travel throughout the assigned area. High School Diploma/GED required; degree or relevant certifications a plus.
