Senior Preconstruction Manager - Mechanical

Responsibilities The Senior Preconstruction Manager - Mechanical is a mechanical subject-matter expert who serves as a resource for Brasfield & Gorrie’s preconstruction departments across all our regions. This role will support precon managers across projects by providing mechanical specific expertise, conceptual budgeting guidance, procurement strategy, vendor relationship knowledge, and training.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following: Serve as the preconstruction department's internal mechanical subject-matter expert, providing support on active pursuits and projects Develop conceptual and schematic-level mechanical budgets to support early pursuit strategy, feasibility studies, and owner/design team conversations Partner with lead preconstruction managers to validate mechanical scope, pricing assumptions, and risk areas on complex or large, high-risk projects Help implement and refine procurement

strategies, including trade packaging, early release packages, design-assist, RFP Development and bid leveling support Leverage prior experience to advise on mechanical market conditions, production rates, vendor capabilities, and buyout strategy Maintain and grow relationships with mechanical trade partners and vendors to support market intelligence and procurement decisions company-wide Develop, teach, and deliver internal training on mechanical systems, estimating best practices, and conceptual budgeting for the broader
