Overview
The role of the Environmental Services Tech I (EVS Tech I) is to comply with the standards of performance for the environmental upkeep of Covenant HealthCare. This includes all EVS Tech I responsibilities. Additionally, all floor, carpet, and surface care as well as miscellaneous project and deep cleaning work in all patient, non-patient, support and other areas of the facility.
These duties are to be completed while working in compliance with mandated regulations and standards regarding infection prevention and control, sanitation, and overall cleanliness. The EVS Tech I assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the facility by reporting items needing fixing or repair to the appropriate person(s).
The EVS Tech I demonstrate excellent customer service performance in that his/ her attitudes and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission, and Values of Covenant HealthCare and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation. This includes providing basic needs and service to customers and visitors.
