Overview
This Anesthesia Aide provides a variety of department stocking and cleaning activities, along with direct/indirect patient care activities under the direction of a licensed Anesthesia Provider.
This individual demonstrate excellent customer service performance in that their attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of the Covenant HealthCare and the commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the routine cleaning and basic care of Anesthesia equipment.
- Maintains, stocks and cleans the Anesthesia workroom.
- Maintains, stocks and cleans the various Anesthesia carts.
- Changes over equipment, carts and supplies in the operating room suites between cases.
- Provides/obtains supplies or equipment as needed during procedures.
- Provides assistance as appropriate to the Anesthesia Providers in the clinical area.
- Assists in entering patient charges in the computer system.
