Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer at Lutron, you will contribute to high- stakes projects from the start. Your efforts will help to maintain our market position as the world leader in smart lighting and shading systems.

As a key member of our manufacturing and product development teams, you’ll help shape the next generation of high‑volume consumer products by applying DfM/DfA principles, designing efficient assembly processes, and supporting new products from prototype through full production.
You’ll work side‑by‑side with product design, production, and tooling experts, gaining hands‑on experience, expanding your technical capabilities, and opening doors to future roles in engineering leadership, operations, product management, quality, and more.
There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:
- Assembly process development and optimization, including time studies, production line balancing, and pareto/defect analysis
- Development and effective documentation of standard work procedures and product manufacturing process notebooks
