Senior Manager - Engineering

Overview

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for a Senior Hardware Engineering Manager at our Austin, Texas engineering office. In this role you will lead, develop, and scale a high-performing hardware engineering organization capable of delivering high quality products that expand Lutron’s leadership in automated lighting and shading solutions.

This position is a leadership role with meaningful technical depth. You will be responsible for building strong teams, developing engineering talent, and creating the conditions for technical excellence, while ensuring projects are delivered with high quality, predictable execution, and strong cross-functional alignment.

You will work closely with senior engineering leadership to

• grow the Austin hardware engineering function
• , define team structure and capability needs, and support multiple product development efforts across the portfolio. The products developed by your teams will be deployed in cutting edge residential and commercial environments around the world.
