Distinguished Engineer – Mechanical Architectures & Manufacturability

Overview

Lutron is seeking a seasoned engineering leader with deep expertise on mechanical design, architecture and manufacturability who is passionate about teaching the craft of engineering to junior and mid-career engineers as they create world-class, smart lighting and lighting control systems. In this position, you will help to systematically upgrade Lutron engineers’ ability to solve hard, cross-disciplinary problems and you will share your knowledge and experiences through hands on mentorship, coaching and demonstration.

Responsibilities

• Teach the C raft: Provide practical coaching by working closely with engineering teams and product managers throughout every stage of the product lifecycle, offering hands-on guidance and fostering learning during project work.
