Under the direction of the RN or LPN, assists in the individualized care of the patient to achieve the patients highest level of wellness. Medical 7 East
⭐
30 bed unit. Medical 7 East cares for adult patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring. Common diagnoses include cellulitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, chest pain, gastrointestinal issues, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID patients. This unit helps build strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, acute medical care, and fast-paced patient management.
