What You'll Do
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will serve as a trusted medication expert and integral member of the healthcare team by:
Reviewing and evaluating medication therapies for safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize patient care
Identifying and resolving medication-related issues, adverse reactions, and drug interactions
Monitoring patient responses to therapy and recommending adjustments when appropriate
Providing medication education and consultation to patients and healthcare providers
Serving as a key clinical resource on formulary management, medication utilization, and evidence-based practices
Participating in quality improvement initiatives, medication-use evaluations, and patient safety programs
Supporting pharmacy learners through student and resident education opportunities
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and utilizing technology systems including Epic, Micromedex, and pharmacy automation platforms

Qualifications
Required: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
Current pharmacist license in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure)
Preferred: Two or more years of clinical pharmacy experience
PGY-1 Residency training
Missouri Medication Therapy Services Certificate (required within 90 days of hire for Missouri pharmacists)
