Carpenter/Painter I - FT, Days

This is an entry-level position requiring basic knowledge of carpentry and painting. It is recommended that incumbents attend one or two years of trade school to prepare them for advancement opportunities. The Carpenter/Painter position will allow the incumbent to learn skills necessary to perform coating applications, door and hardware maintenance, basic carpentry repairs, work practices, safety procedures, and become familiar with the respective regulatory requirements.

The position will also provide an opportunity to learn proper use of basic tools and equipment necessary to perform carpenter/painter job tasks. The Carpenter/Painter position will support mid-sized and large hospital campuses and will provide the necessary skill to maintain and repair various architectural finishes throughout the hospital and other medical buildings. Utilizes exceptional customer service and communication skills.
