Operating Room RN Residency & Earn as You Learn Program for Nursing Students at Mercy Hospital STL
What is the Earn as You Learn Program?
This program was designed for nursing students completing their senior practicum/preceptor hours at Mercy in the Operating Room. The students are given the unique opportunity to become Mercy coworkers (if they are not already employed by Mercy) and be paid a stipend for their senior practicum time while they work alongside a dedicated Mercy Nurse!
MUST accept an RN residency in the Operating Room to qualify!
6-month contract post-graduation is required.
Participating Schools Include: Maryville University, Mizzou, Missouri Baptist University, St Louis Community College (all campuses), Chamberlain, Jefferson College, East Central Community College, St Louis University, St Charles Community College, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Mineral Area College, University of Missouri St Louis, Southwestern Illinois College, Lewis and Clark Community College

The Main Operating Room at Mercy St. Louis Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center
