The Associate IR Special Procedures Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and interventional radiology, assisting in diagnosing and treating patients. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience: no experience required.
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification: ARRT (R); Basic Life Support (BLS)
IR Special Procedure Technologist:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience.
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification: AART (R) OR RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced IR Special Procedure Technologist:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience.
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification: ARRT (R) with 1 Advanced registry (CI, or VI) OR RCIS OR ARRT (R) with 5 years of relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)
Senior IR Special Procedure Technologist:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience.
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification: ARRT (R) with 1 Advanced registry (CI, or VI) OR RCIS OR ARRT (R) with 5 years of relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS)
