This is a full time position with duties being split between two departments, Psych Partial (Req ID 46759) and Case Management (Req ID 45618). Please review postings for full job descriptions.
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, serving as therapist and Case Manager for patients in the Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program. This position also serves as a liaison for therapy services needed by hospital inpatients or emergency room patients who are awaiting placement on a Behavioral Health Unit.
The therapist is responsible for planning and delivery of therapy and educational services to patients, and, if indicated, to their families and significant others; monitoring and management of patient behavior in order to maintain the therapeutic environment and patient safety; performs admission, discharge and utilization review; and effectively markets the program. Other functions may be assigned.
