Responsibilities
- Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer
- (Journeyman) to support the Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201) at
- NAS Patuxent River in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-201 is responsible for research, development, acquisition and sustainment of the Navy's air-to-ground precision guided weapons, general-purpose bombs, and aircraft armament-related equipment. This position will support the A/U/RGM-84 Harpoon project. Harpoon is an all-weather, over-the-horizon, anti-ship missile system that provides the Navy with a common missile for air and ship launches.
- Twenty-nine foreign military partners employ the Harpoon Block II missile and its launch control equipment.
This is a hybrid position with much of the work being performed at the local satellite location for the PMA-201 International Team with some local telework. Travel requirements average about once every six weeks.
The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:
Performs programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems
