Job Summary
Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking to employ a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join their
Acute Care Surgery team consisting of surgical ICU, trauma, and emergency general surgery.
Sarasota is located approximately 60 minutes south of Tampa. The area is known for the arts, great restaurants, world-class beaches, excellent schools, and a wide variety of activities for all ages.
Position Highlight:
Join seven (7) Trauma/General/Surgical Critical Care Surgeons and 20 Advanced Practice Providers.
SMH is a Level II Trauma Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only hospital providing trauma care services in Sarasota County.
FDOH Designation Trauma Center since 2016 and re-designated in 2023 with no deficiencies.
Over 175,000 emergency visits and 2800 Trauma Activations annually
Responsibilities include:
- 13 shifts a month working the night shift
