Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) functions in a scrub role for operative and other invasive procedures including establishing and maintaining a sterile field, specimen handling, counts, medications/solutions, implants and instrument processing and may assist with circulating duties, as well as, participate in activities related to standards and quality improvement for the specialty and the department.
Compensation
Salary Details:
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as a CST, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $26.15, max of salary range is $39.25.
Required Qualifications
- Require active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
-Completion of a Surgical Technician program
-Ability to sit for certification exam
